Refunds & Cancellations

This policy applies to paid lessons offered by Insightdevops: the Bare-Chart Intensive, private mentoring, evening study circles, and single chart reviews. It does not cover physical retail products or subscription software, which we do not sell.

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel, whether the lesson has started, and whether materials or recordings have already been delivered. Australian Consumer Law rights remain unaffected where they apply.

Timeframes

• Intensives and study circles: Full refund of fees paid (including deposit) if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before the first scheduled session. Cancellations between 13 and 7 days before the first session receive a 50% refund. Inside 7 days, fees are non-refundable unless we cancel the cohort.
• Private mentoring and chart reviews: Full refund if you cancel at least 48 hours before the appointment. Inside 48 hours, the session fee is forfeited unless we can fill the slot.

Partial refunds

If we cancel a cohort and cannot offer a suitable alternative date, you receive a full refund. If you miss individual intensive sessions after the cohort begins, those sessions are not refunded individually; recordings (when included) remain available for the stated window.

Non-refundable items

• Deposits after the 14-day intensive/study-circle window described above
• Completed mentoring or review sessions
• Downloadable worksheets once issued for a cohort you have joined
• Administrative card or transfer fees charged by payment providers, where those fees are non-recoverable

Work already started

Once an intensive’s first live session has begun, remaining fees for that cohort are non-refundable. Mentoring packages of multiple sessions may be paused once; unused sessions older than six months expire without refund.

Materials

Printed packs shipped for on-site groups are non-refundable after dispatch. Digital worksheets remain licensed for personal use only.

No-shows

Missing a scheduled mentoring call or chart review without 48 hours’ notice counts as a delivered session. Study circle no-shows do not extend the four-week block.

Rescheduling

Mentoring and reviews may be rescheduled once without fee when notice meets the 48-hour rule. Intensives are rarely rescheduled for individuals; we may offer a transfer to the next cohort if seats remain.

How to request a refund

Email info@insightdevops.digital with your full name, lesson type, payment date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days.

Processing time and method

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add several days.
